According to a recent announcement, the beta will include a single-player campaign mission, a first for the series. ## A Campaign Mission in the Beta The beta, which will be available from August 21 to 25 for those who have pre-ordered the game, will feature five new multiplayer maps in 6v6 format. However, the real surprise is the inclusion of a campaign mission called 'Entrenched'. This is a departure from the traditional beta format, which has always focused on multiplayer modes. The campaign mission will be available in the beta, and it will give players a taste of the single-player experience. The beta will also include various multiplayer modes, including Team Deathmatch, Domination, and more. The beta will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with the second beta being open to the public from August 28 to September 1. ## Changes in the Second Beta The second beta will feature some changes, including the replacement of the Lotus map with Lithium. The mission 'Entrenched' will still be available, and a new mode called Ground War will be added, featuring two maps. The Warzone mode will also be included, with a new map called Zodiac. Additionally, two new multiplayer modes, Hijack and Combat Outpost, will be added to the list. ## Access to the Campaign Players who pre-order the digital standard edition or the Vault Edition of the game will also get early access to the campaign, starting from October 16, a week before the official launch on October 23.
