A step-by-step guide to solving the complex blood transfusion door puzzle in Silent Hill: Townfall's 'Many Into One'...

The blood transfusion puzzle in Silent Hill: Townfall presents a significant logistical challenge within the game's terrifying hospital setting. According to a guide from Polygon, players must locate missing blood bags, place them in correct slots, and establish connections between compatible blood types to progress.

Locating the Missing Blood Bags

During the 'Many Into One' mission, players encounter a locked door operated by a blood transfusion machine with three empty slots. The first blood bag belongs to Alan Duncan. It is found by crawling through a vent in the last room on the right in the eastern corridor. After retrieving it and Zoe's patient list, players can attach the bag to a door in the west corridor to access the west wing.

Zoe's list marks the locations of the next two bags. Sarah Watson's blood bag is in room 05 in the southwest. Lesley Greer's bag is in room 12 in the northeast, but that room is initially locked. To reach it, players must handle past monsters, collect the Ward W Master Key from room 4 on the lower level, and use it to unlock room 13. A ladder there leads to room 12. With Lesley Greer's bag, players can enter the east wing.

The final two bags require more stealth. Matthew Clark's blood bag is attached to a corpse in an elevator in room 2, but it falls to a lower floor. Before chasing it, players should crawl through a vent near room 6 to drop into room 10. There, they find George McEwan's blood bag and the Ward P Master Key. This key opens room 3 on the lower level, where Matthew Clark's bag is finally collected.

Returning to the transfusion machine upstairs involves handling vents and turning wheels in rooms 5 and 10 to unlock the path, all while avoiding an unkillable monster.

Solving the Blood Bag Placement Puzzle

Back at the machine, players must place the correct blood bags into the three empty slots. The solution involves matching the description of each blood bag in the inventory to patient information left at each slot. The three required bags for this first step are from Sarah Watson, Matthew Clark, and George McEwan.

Completing the Blood Type Connection Puzzle

After the first door opens, a second, more complex transfusion puzzle appears. This puzzle features a circle with the name 'Ordell' at its center-the last name of the game's protagonist, Simon. Players must connect this center to three of eight blood bags on the walls.

Simon Ordell's medical wristband, found in the inventory, states his blood type is A+. Plaques on the walls detail blood type compatibility, showing that type A+ can receive donations from types O-, O+, A-, and A+. By examining the eight available blood bags, players identify three donors with matching types: Thomas Fergusson, Hannah McGregor, and Sarah Watson.

The final solution is to connect the 'Ordell' center to the blood bags marked with the initials T.F., H.M., and S.W. Interacting with the innermost circle completes the puzzle, allowing access to hotel room 204 and concluding the 'Many Into One' mission.
