EA Motive Iron Man Gameplay Leaks

Gameplay footage from what appears to be EA Motive Studio's Iron Man game has leaked online. The video, which started circulating on social media, shows an unfinished build featuring Tony Stark's Iron Man, a S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier, and potentially other recognizable Marvel characters.

Development History and Reassurances

EA Motive officially revealed its Iron Man project almost exactly four years ago in 2022. Despite the hype from the studio's Dead Space remake and Star Wars: Squadrons, updates have been scarce since.

The last official update came in April 2024. The team reassured fans the Iron Man game remained an "important priority" even as EA brought Motive in to work on Battlefield 6. With only a teaser image to go on, some fans had begun to worry the project was canceled.

Motive general manager Patrick Klaus provided a statement in 2024. "In parallel, development continues to move forward on our Iron Man project, led by Olivier Proulx (Executive Producer) and Ian Frazier (Creative Director)," Klaus said. "The team made excellent progress this year, hitting a major internal milestone and laying a robust foundation for the journey ahead."

The new leak, while unverified, implies development has been progressing steadily behind the scenes. In a gaming landscape dominated by demand for Spider-Man and Wolverine games, an Iron Man title could have significant potential. EA had no comment when contacted by IGN about the leak.
